    Before heading out into the woods, you should do a bit of research on your destination. Know which species are present, how to avoid them, and how to behave if you do experience an encounter. Knowledge is power. Knowing how to avoid certain animals and how to react during an encounter could save your life.

    Nanganganib ba ang bayawak sa Pilipinas?
    - Malapit nang mawala ang Panay monitor lizard, na kilala rin bilang bayawak, sa mga tropikal na kagubatan sa bansa dahil ang pagtotroso ay nagbabanta sa tirahan nito at itinutulak ng mga mangangaso ang mga species patungo sa pagkalipol.
