held at Star City Complex in Pasay, Philippines

This event brought different cultural festivals across the Philippines in one grand showcase of colorful dance parade and float competition.


Bagging the first place in the Float Design Competition was the Halamanan Float of Guiguinto, Bulacan which was constructed using natural materials. The same group from Brgy. Sta. Cruz also won the fourth place in the Grand National Festival Dance Competition. The Halamanan Festival is celebrated every 23rd of January as locals of Guiguinto express their adoration of plants, flowers, and trees which provide them means of livelihood.

ABOUT
Every January 23rd of the year, the place that is known for Guiguinto, Bulacan was known for its HALAMANAN FESTIVAL and celebrated for just about 13 years. Numerous plant specialists toiled a thousand of Plants, Flowers, and Trees each year and pitch it to discountable cost.
The celebration of Guiguinto's Halamanan Festival is an annual event on every 23rd of January since 1998 which was established by Mayor Ambrosio Cruz, Jr.
Halamanan is a festival which celebrates in their adoration for plants, of trees, and of blossoms since these manifestations of nature give them a decent method to bring home the bacon. It praises the integrity gave to them by Mother Nature. This celebration additionally commended the establishment day of Guiguinto.
Guiguinto began as a barrio of Bulacan town, the former provincial capital of Bulacan. It is said that Spaniards set up an army post in the barrio to serve as a resting place for forces gong to Northern Luzon.
