Aliwan Festival comes from the word aliw, which means entertainment. It is organized by Manila Broadcasting Company, Cultural Center of the Philippines, City Government of Manila, and City Government of Pasay. The very first festival was held in 2003.

ABOUT Manggahan sa Guimaras - “Mango Capital of the Philippines”. This festival is celebrated every summer season to promote the burgeoning mango industry of the island and also to attract tourists.

The Hubon Balsahan performance shows the bountiful harvest from the seas and the thriving aquaculture industry that sustains the economic growth of the municipality. The Hubon's dance emphasized the importance of "balsa" made of bamboo shafts in transporting the harvest of the people of Sibunag from the seas. Other activities include a battle of the bands, culinary contest, bike fest, street dance battle, job fair, color fun run with celebrity guests, folk dance competition, dog show, basketball games, pageant, and a lot of celebrities.
