An average of 20 typhoons enters the country yearly, with potentially more to come due to the adverse effects of climate change. More recently, typhoons – The tropical storm with the international name (Khanun) entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 11 pm on Friday, July 28, and was given the local name Falcon.
