THE FIRST SOCIAL HISTORY MUSEUM IN THE PHILIPPINES




The Pamintuan Mansion is the site of the Museum of Philippine Social History (Filipino: Museo ng Kasaysayang Panlipunan ng Pilipinas) since 2015. It is reportedly the first social history museum in the Philippines.

The Pamintuan museum showcases the Filipino social life covering various aspects such as traditional clothing, games, music, trade, and culinary arts.

The Pamintuan Mansion is a historic building in Angeles City, Philippines built by the Pamintuan family in the 1880s.

 The site of the first-anniversary celebration of the declaration of Philippine independence on 12 June 1899.


It was briefly used by the Katipunan during the Philippine-American War. It currently hosts a social science museum.
