Chinese New Year Celebrated in the Philippines The Chinese culture in the Philippines had been recognized to be very influential in the country, as Filipinos are known to partake in the celebration by means of having Chinese Food, consulting Feng Shui experts for good luck, as well as reading their Chinese horoscope.
Filipinos celebrated the Chinese New Year yesterday by visiting Binondo to enjoy special performances, such as the Dragon dances and fireworks, and shopped Chinese foods and goods, such as the much-loved "Tikoy."

Both Chinese Filipinos and Filipinos in the country enjoy the celebration.

Earlier I witnessed the presentation and welcoming of the New Year on a bridge in Manila, the Binondo Intramuros Bridge. Thousands of people joined and enjoyed the fireworks display that shows the celebration of the Filipinos and Chinese in welcoming their New Year this year in the year of the snake 2025.

There is also a highlight of the drone performance display included in the fireworks that shows the symbol of the deep relationship between China and the Philippines.
