The Agoncillo–Mariño House is an oldest Spanish Colonial Era house in Taal, Batangas, Philippines.
A place where creativity meets education, history, culture, heritage, and nature, all woven together through storytelling and experiential learning. It's more than just art instruction; it's an immersive experience that deepens understanding and appreciation.
Interdisciplinary Approach: Blending art with history, culture, heritage, and nature creates a rich learning environment. For example, students might learn about traditional art forms of a region while also exploring its history and natural environment.
In celebration of National Art Months, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), thru the Museo nina Marcela Mariño at Felipe Agoncillo & Museo nina Leon at Galicano Apacible, in collaboration with the Municipality of Taal, Batangas, and Art Camp Philippines, conducted a heritage tour and art workshop titled, "Art Camp goes to Taal: Art Talk x Heritage Walk." Students from the Taal National High School and teachers from Manila participated in the event. Mr. Kristoffer Xeirem R. Medina, Acting Shrine Curator, led the museum tour, while Mr. Jesus A. Genotiva, Art Camp Founder, supervised the art workshop.


This program highlights our history and heritage through the participants’ appreciation of architecture and interpretation of artifacts by letting them see the entirety of our museums and engaging them in arts. Art Camp Dedicated for Creative Minds & Art Enthusiasts Let's continue to paint the world with colors of unity and imagination.
