“LIKHA NG KASAYSAYAN: In Celebration of History and Language Month” A cultural journey that honors our nation’s past and strengthens our identity through art, history, and heritage.

Celebrates History and Heritage in Its 15th Milestone Event: “Likha ng Kasaysayan”

In celebration of Buwan ng Kasaysayan at Wika, Art Camp Philippines proudly presents its 15th milestone event, “Likha ng Kasaysayan: Art Camp at the Legacy Museums of Quezon”, to be held this August 16, 2025. This day-long cultural and educational tour will bring together artists, educators, and students as they explore four iconic museums in Quezon City in a single day—highlighting the richness of Filipino identity through history, visual storytelling, and patriotism.

This special program is made possible in partnership with the Quezon City Tourism Department, aligning with the city’s newly launched tourism branding campaign: “QC: More to Explore.” The initiative aims to solidify Quezon City’s position as a premier cultural and tourism destination in Metro Manila. In the words of Mayor Joy Belmonte, “This is more than just a slogan—it’s a statement that Quezon City is a thriving destination with something new and exciting at every turn.”

Art Camp Philippines, known for its grassroots heritage campaigns, proudly supports the vision of QC Tourism by offering its art caravan as a vehicle for cultural education and creative engagement. The event will include the participation of teachers and students from Justo Lukban Elementary School, providing them with a rare opportunity to experience an immersive educational tour focused on history, art development, and Filipino values.

“Special thanks to the Quezon City Tourism Department for their support

and partnership in making this cultural initiative possible.”
