The Pasig River (Filipino: Ilog Pasig; Spanish: Río Pásig)
is a water body in the Philippines that connects Laguna de Bay to Manila Bay.
In celebration of WORLD RIVERS DAY!
Objectives: for documenting historical and natural heritage sites and the overall artistic wealth of the city.
That we can do Live drawing in natural and historical cultural heritage sites. the activity drawing “Pasig River Drawing Tour”.
What we experience of going around the Pasig River. Make drawings while riding the ferry tour we will draw is the beautiful spot in the middle of the pasig river.
For the Art Activities:
We just want to draw and experience the Pasig River Ferry Tour! In an activity like this, our group can show the beauty of the natural heritage of the Pasig River.
For the fifth time in the Art Camp event. With the theme “PASIGLAHIN ANG ILOG PASIG.” we focus on the natural heritage of our race. In conjunction with the celebration of World Rivers Day on the fourth of September. This is a big river in the middle of Manila.
"I hope that our drawings can arouse attention and open the mind of the public to revive our river. Because the once lifeless river now has programs and activities for the changing times that we must take care of. In the modern lifestyle of Humans that nature is our priority that is included in our lives that is our source of our food, air, and others depend on our mother nature."
ART CAMP ADVOCACY
is to preserve and promote arts, culture and natural heritage in the Philippines. The Pasig River is a major Natural Heritage of our Filipino identity and it is also very important that we protect and take care of it.
Art Camp doesn't just focus when it comes to art and culture. we are also pro-environment with the aim of protecting and preserving our natural heritage. as part of this planet. we are also united in the advocacy of World Rivers Day! By keeping our environment clean, so is our source of clean water.
Let's not let the Pasig River be killed!
Through our drawings we can call the attention of the public to open their eyes to the importance of Pasig River in Metro Manila.
