oldest Chinatown in the world although locally, it is known for the Binondo
food trip that Chinese cuisines have become a gateway to introduce the cultural
heritage and history of the unique Filipino Chinese community.

It starts off at the most prominent landmark, the Binondo Church, which was built in the 1500s. It was the symbol of the conversion of the Chinese community into Catholicism.
The museum then shares the economic activities in Binondo, which is trade.

Binondo, Manila's Chinatown, is the oldest of its kind in the world. More than 400 years since it was established, the district still continues to thrive. Derived from the Filipino word binundok (“mountainous”), Binondo was established in 1594 as a permanent settlement for Chinese-Catholic immigrants.

The Chinatown Museum, Binondo is open from Tuesday to Sunday 10AM-6PM
THINGS TO BRING:
A bottle of water, Camera, Cellphone, Cash should be on your bag. and if you're a student or senior citizen, bring your I. D's.
WHAT TO WEAR:
There are no Dress Codes, but it's always best to dress in comfort since you will be walking around. wearing casual clothing and flat footwear is highly recommended.
BEST TIME TO VISIT:
Since it's not yet very popular, you can visit this on weekends and find almost no crowd. I recommend doing so in the morning, at the opening of the lucky Chinatown Mall, and then have lunch in Binondo.
LENGTH TO VISIT:
Given a relatively small space but packed with information, going around the museum takes only 1-2 hours maximum.
