MANILA AT NIGHT After I watched Dayaw 2023. one of my experiences was to walk under the Lawton underpass.

and cross the other street, and for me to shoot a video vlog on top of the appearance of the metropolitan theater. I did not expect Manila to be like this after the pandemic.

LAWTON UNDERPASS

This is what the Lawton underpass in Manila looks like now, water dripping on the floor and many people sleeping at the top of the waiting shed and there are some dark areas on the other side going to Intramuros.

And one thing I noticed is that there is No CCTV camera that you can see if it is safe and secure for a passenger and tourist to walk in that area.

It's good that all the lights are on and bright, but it's a different feeling to be able to walk safely at this late night. And another thing that surprises me is that there are young people who ride bicycles and cross under the underpass at night.

I think that at that time they should be inside their homes, for the youths who wander should be at curfew time.

"It is not safe to walk if you know that all the crimes that happen are at night even inside the house and on the road."
