“We have been so colonized, it’s about time we think… ‘yung genius ng indigenous people are still here. That’s what I call the INDIO-GENIUS. Kasi lahat tayo na-’indio’-nize. We’re all Indios in their books. But maybe, behind the indigenous, ‘primitive’, ‘backward’, and ‘pagan’ is a strong soul… and that’s what I want to highlight here. We are victims of history, and we cannot undo that; We cannot change our outlook, but we can always go back sa mga kaalaman ng ating mga katutubo.
